Entra ID uses an eventually consistent multi-region database architecture. PowerShell code that fetches and updates Entra ID objects needs to interact with the database in the most efficient manner. This article illustrates some guidance from Microsoft engineering with examples from the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK. The new Graph X-Ray extension available for the Chrome and Edge browsers gives developers an insight into how the Azure AD admin center uses Graph API commands to retrieve user and group objects.
